Competitive Daily Rate or Percentage of Collections (Negotiable Based on Experience) Join Our Specialty Team Lago Vista Family Dentistry is seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Endodontist to join our growing practice on a part-time basis. This opportunity is ideal for a traveling specialist looking to supplement an existing schedule while working alongside a collaborative team in a modern, family-oriented dental practice. With a strong internal referral base and a commitment to comprehensive patient care, you'll have the opportunity to provide much-needed specialty services while enjoying the flexibility of a low-commitment schedule. What You'll Do As our Endodontic Specialist, you will: Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries affecting the dental pulp and surrounding tissues Perform root canal therapy, retreatments, and other endodontic procedures Evaluate and manage dental pain and endodontic emergencies Collaborate closely with our general dentists to provide comprehensive patient care Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, and post-operative expectations Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Deliver exceptional patient experiences with a focus on comfort, communication, and quality outcomes Required Qualifications DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school Completion of an accredited Endodontic Residency Program Active Texas Dental License in good standing Current DEA registration Professional malpractice coverage Excellent clinical, communication, and patient management skills Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and clinical excellence Preferred Qualifications Own endodontic equipment and instruments preferred Experience working as a traveling or contract specialist Comfortable practicing independently while integrating seamlessly with an established team Strong referral communication and case presentation skills Technology & Support Our practice is equipped with modern technology to help support efficient, high-quality patient care, including: Dentrix Ascend Practice Management Software Digital Radiography and Imaging Well-trained clinical and administrative support staff Established referral pathways within the practice Why Join Lago Vista Family Dentistry?
