We are a private practice with a strong and welcoming team. We accept PPO and children's medicaid insurances. In this vital role, you will deliver expert orthodontic care, utilizing your specialized skills to improve oral health and aesthetics. Responsibilities Diagnose and develop comprehensive orthodontic treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, including braces, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances Perform orthodontic procedures with precision, ensuring optimal outcomes for both pediatric and adult patients Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to coordinate patient care and treatment strategies Maintain detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations Educate patients on treatment options, oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment care to ensure successful results Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and treatment tracking Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures to ensure patient safety Stay current with advancements in orthodontics, including dental fabrication techniques, dental implants, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry Skills Proven experience in orthodontics with strong knowledge of dental diagnosis and treatment planning Proficiency in dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix Skilled in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex treatments clearly and compassionately Deep understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging techniques Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques specific to dental practice environments Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, oral surgery, and other general dentistry procedures when needed Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience managing medical records securely in compliance with privacy laws Strong organizational skills for managing medical documentation and dental fabrication processes Commitment to ongoing professional development in areas such as pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and orthodontics Embark on this rewarding journey with us where your expertise helps transform smiles while working in a supportive environment that values your professional growth.
