In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, root canal therapy, extractions, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnose dental conditions using medical imaging and dental terminology. Develop personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive healthcare diagnosis and patient needs. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Utilize dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document medical records accurately and efficiently. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions. Collaborate with team members on four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Stay current with state healthcare regulations and HIPAA compliance to protect patient privacy and confidentiality. Assist in dental fabrication processes and utilize medical terminology appropriately during procedures. Maintain detailed documentation of all treatments performed and ensure compliance with medical documentation standards. Qualifications Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, infection control practices, and aseptic technique standards. Excellent Patient communication skills with the ability to educate patients about their oral health effectively. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical records management.
