Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. This role involves diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Duties Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatrics. Diagnose dental issues and develop appropriate treatment plans, including root canal therapy and other restorative procedures. Perform a variety of dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient care. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Maintain accurate medical records, documenting patient history, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with HIPAA standards. Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care to promote overall wellness. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the best possible care. Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic. Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory. Strong understanding of infection control practices within a clinical setting. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
