Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Dental Provider (DDS or DMD) Minimum of 2 years of experience highly preferred Flexible Schedule | Family-Oriented Practice | Established Patient Base We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused General Dentist (DDS or DMD) to join a well-established, community-centered dental practice located in Hampton, VA 23666. This opportunity the ability to work with a loyal, long-standing patient population that values personalized care. 4-5 days per week (Mon-Thurs with possibility of opening office on Friday)
Typical Hours:
Most ideal schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00
PM Practice Schedule:
Monday - Thursday (potential to open Fridays depending on provider availability)

Current Team Includes:
3 Dentists 3 Dental Hygienists 2.5 Dental Assistants Dedicated support staff and front desk scheduling Dentists are supported by their own dental assistant and typically work within a two-column schedule. Patient Population Providers will primarily treat: Veterans Elderly patients General family dentistry patients The practice has a strong community feel, with many patients having been part of the practice for years. Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but not required. Clinical Responsibilities The ideal provider will be comfortable performing general dentistry procedures, including: Required Procedures Comprehensive exams Fillings Crown preparation and placement Bridges Dentures Simple extractions Preferred / Additional Skills Root canals (simple cases) Surgical extractions Implant procedures Complex root canals and specialty procedures may be referred to specialists.
Clinical Expectations Target monthly production:
approximately $75,000 Up to 4 crown procedures per day Efficient workflow with two treatment columns Compensation Compensation is structured to support providers during onboarding while transitioning to a production-based model. First 30 Days Competitive daily rate during the onboarding period $700-$800/per day (depending on experience) Designed to support providers while credentialing and ramp-up occurs After 30 Days Transition to a competitive percentage of collections: 30%-35% (based on experience level) Final daily rate and collection percentage will be discussed during the interview process. Part-time providers working approximately 3 days per week have historically earned $18,000-$20,000+ monthly once established in the role. Contractor Requirements This role is structured as a 1099 Independent Contractor position.
Providers must have:
Active Virginia Dental License DEA License Malpractice Insurance Minimum coverage: $1M per claim / $3M aggregate License in good standing Providers are responsible for maintaining their own malpractice insurance. Insurance & Credentialing The practice participates in several major dental networks, including: Delta Dental Connection Dental Dentemax Candidates do not need to be credentialed prior to hire, though existing credentialing is a plus. Providers may begin working while credentialing is in progress.
