Lead Endodontic Assistant - Full Time Loudoun Endodontics | Leesburg, Virginia Full-Time | $27-$32 per hour, based on experience Join an Established Specialty Practice and Build a Long-Term Career With Us Loudoun Endodontics is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly dependable Lead Endodontic Assistant to join our team in Leesburg, Virginia. This is an opportunity for an experienced endodontic assistant who is looking for more than just their next job. We are looking for someone who wants to become an important, long-term member of an established specialty practice, build strong relationships with our doctors and team, and take pride in providing exceptional care to our patients. Our ideal candidate is an experienced endodontic assistant who is confident clinically, dependable, organized, compassionate with patients, and—above all—a team player . We have an established team and clinical workflow in place. We are looking for someone who can join that team, learn how our practice operates, and contribute positively to it. We value experience and initiative, but we equally value flexibility, collaboration, and a willingness to work within an established team. What We're Looking For Endodontic assisting experience is strongly preferred, with a minimum of 2-3 years of endodontic or closely related specialty assisting experience desired.
The ideal candidate will:
Have strong chairside experience assisting with root canal treatment, retreatment, and endodontic procedures Be comfortable working efficiently in a busy specialty practice Anticipate the doctor's needs and keep procedures running smoothly Be exceptionally reliable, punctual, and dependable Provide warm, compassionate care to patients who may be anxious or experiencing dental pain Work well with multiple doctors and different personalities Communicate professionally with doctors, coworkers, patients, and referring dental offices Be organized and attentive to detail Maintain excellent infection-control and operatory standards Be willing to help coworkers without needing to be asked Approach leadership through teamwork, responsibility, and setting a positive example Be comfortable joining an established team and learning our existing systems and protocols Be flexible and receptive to feedback Be interested in building a long-term career with our practice Responsibilities Responsibilities will include: Chairside assisting for endodontic treatment and retreatment Preparing operatories and anticipating procedural needs Taking high-quality digital radiographs Assisting with endodontic technology and equipment Sterilization and infection-control procedures Maintaining clinical supplies and properly stocked operatories Helping maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinical day Providing reassurance and compassionate support to patients Communicating effectively with the doctors and administrative team Helping support and train other clinical team members as appropriate Contributing to a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment What "Lead Assistant" Means at Loudoun Endodontics We believe leadership is demonstrated through reliability, clinical excellence, teamwork, communication, and example . Our Lead Endodontic Assistant will be someone the doctors and other assistants can depend upon. This position is not about coming into the practice and immediately changing established systems. Instead, we are looking for someone who will first learn our practice, earn the trust of the team, and over time help us maintain excellent clinical standards and develop our assisting team. The right person will be confident enough to lead while remaining humble enough to collaborate. Compensation $27-$32/hour, depending upon endodontic experience and qualifications. We recognize the value of an exceptional specialty dental assistant and are willing to compensate accordingly. Candidates with significant endodontic experience, demonstrated reliability, and previous leadership experience may qualify toward the upper end of the range. Compensation and performance will be reviewed as the successful candidate becomes established within the practice. Why Loudoun Endodontics?
