Responsibilities Provide high-quality general dental services including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and restorations. Perform advanced procedures such as root canal therapy, dental implants, oral surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry as needed. Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patient needs and preferences while adhering to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare guidelines. Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records using electronic health record systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed through aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures. Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care to foster trust and understanding. Experience Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting with proficiency in dental terminology and medical documentation. Demonstrated ability to perform a wide array of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and endodontics. Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control practices, medical imaging techniques, and aseptic techniques. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health status. Experience working with pediatric patients or providing pediatric dentistry services is a plus.
