Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, dental extractions, root canal therapy. Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with healthcare diagnosis standards. Utilize dental terminology accurately while explaining diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. Maintain precise medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment. Use dental imaging technology and medical imaging tools to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their oral health, treatment procedures, and post-treatment care to foster trust and understanding. Skills Proficiency with dental practice management software Dentrix Ascend Extensive experience in general dentistry with specialization in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform complex procedures including dental implants, root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and extractions efficiently. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort. Familiarity with medical documentation standards and medical records management.
