Job Description

Overview Join our privately owned multi specialty dental team as a dedicated Periodontist, where your expertise will directly impact patients' oral health and confidence. In this vital role, you will specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal (gum) diseases, as well as perform complex procedures to restore and maintain healthy gums and supporting structures. Duties Diagnose and treat periodontal conditions, including gum disease, bone loss, and tissue regeneration needs Perform advanced procedures such as periodontal surgeries, dental implant placements, and tissue grafts Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients Utilize dental imaging technology to assess oral structures accurately and plan treatments effectively Maintain detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and practice standards Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to ensure optimal outcomes Use dental terminology precisely to communicate diagnoses, procedures, and care instructions clearly Requirements Valid WA state license to practice dentistry with specialization in periodontics Proven experience in periodontal therapy, including dental extractions, third molars, tissue/bone grafting, third molar extractions, PRP/PRF, oral sedation, and infection control protocols Proficiency with Open Dental for recordkeeping and patient management Strong communication skills and ability to work with a large team Knowledge of Straumann and Neodent implant systems Guided Implant Placements Commitment to patient care excellence while adhering to HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality Join us as a Periodontist committed to delivering exceptional care through advanced techniques like dental implantology and tissue regeneration.
