Job Overview Orthodontist - Maternity Leave Coverage Mercer Island & Sammamish Plateau, WA | Now - December 2026 We are a growing orthodontic practice seeking a compassionate and skilled Orthodontist to provide maternity leave coverage at our Mercer Island and Sammamish Plateau locations. This is a defined-term opportunity running from now through the end of December 2026. This is a unique opportunity to step into a collaborative environment where you can build meaningful relationships with patients and families while helping create confident, healthy smiles — with the possibility of extension depending on practice needs. What You'll Do Diagnose and treat orthodontic conditions in patients of all ages Develop individualized treatment plans including braces, clear aligners, and interceptive/early treatment as appropriate Create a positive, comfortable experience for patients and their families Collaborate with clinical teams to deliver exceptional patient care across our Mercer Island and Sammamish Plateau offices Qualifications DDS/DMD from an accredited dental program Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency Active Washington dental license (or eligibility) Experience providing general orthodontic care Friendly, patient-focused, and team-oriented approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills Availability for the full coverage period (now through end of December 2026) strongly preferred What We Offer $1,200-$1,800 per day commensurate with experience and performance Consistent scheduling for the duration of the coverage period Modern, fully equipped practices with steady patient flow Established referral network with strong orthodontic growth Supportive, upbeat team culture Convenient Mercer Island and Sammamish Plateau office locations Why Join Us?
