Summary We are seeking a Dental Specialty Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Light Dental Studios. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations of our several specialists within our office including General Dentistry, Pediatrics, Periodontics, and Oral Surgery while providing excellent service to our patients. Your contributions will directly support our mission of delivering exceptional care. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment. Manage patient scheduling and maintain appointment calendars efficiently. Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered. Assist with maintaining accurate patient records and documentation. Communicate effectively with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care. Utilize dental terminology to facilitate communication with patients and staff. Support billing processes by collecting payments and verifying insurance information. Requirements Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role is preferred. Strong patient service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences. Familiarity with medical and dental terminology is essential. Proficient in using office software and scheduling systems; experience with Meditech is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
