Our client in Wisconsin is actively seeking a skilled Dentist for a 65-day assignment. This role involves general dentistry, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The incoming Dentist will primarily handle standard general dentistry procedures, seeing 8-10 patients per day in addition to supervising two staff hygienists managing six hygiene patients daily. Comfort working with children aged 9-14 is a key aspect of this role. Responsibilities and Duties Perform basic restorative procedures including fillings, replacing existing restorations, and build-ups. Conduct routine and simple extractions, including some molar extractions. Manage crown and bridge work, including crown preps, temporary crowns, cementation, and bridges. Execute basic endodontic procedures, focusing on straightforward anterior and premolar root canals based on comfort level. Perform comprehensive exams and diagnostics, including new patient exams, periodic exams, emergency/limited exams, and X-ray review. Provide preventive care, including treatment planning, fluoride applications, and sealants. Address basic prosthodontics, such as dentures/partials, adjustments, and repairs. Handle emergency dentistry, including toothaches, broken teeth/restorations, infections, and other acute issues.
