Full Job Description Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT/CCHT) provides direct patient care to dialysis patients in a hospital setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The technician is responsible for the safe setup, operation, monitoring, and disinfection of hemodialysis equipment while delivering compassionate patient care in accordance with hospital policies, state regulations, and federal standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Previous dialysis experience preferred; acute hospital dialysis experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of dialysis principles, infection control, and emergency procedures
License/Certifications:
Current Certified Hemodialysis Technician credential required (CCHT, CHT) in the state of California. Current BLS certification required.
Equipment:
Experience with priming, operation, and disinfection of dialysis delivery system including operation of the portable reverse osmosis (RO) filter.

Salary offers are determined by candidate's relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate's individual experience.
