We are currently seeking a qualified Certified Dietary Manager / Dietary Supervisor to help lead our Dietary Department. ️
Position Overview:
Certified Dietary Manager / Dietary Supervisor The Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) assists in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while delivering high-quality, nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. You'll work closely with the Administrator and/or Dietary Consultant to support resident health, satisfaction, and recovery. ✅
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planning, organizing, and directing daily Dietary Department operations Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local dietary and sanitation regulations Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment Support menu planning and food preparation to meet residents' nutritional needs Supervise dietary staff and assist with scheduling and workflow Monitor food quality, portion control, and meal service standards Ensure proper food storage, handling, and sanitation practices Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve dietary services
Qualifications:
Certification by the Association of Nutrition and Food Service Professionals. Completion of a certified Dietary Manager Exam. 2+ years in foodservice management. Good mathematical skills. Highly organized and responsible. Excellent written and verbal communication. Exceptional interpersonal skills.
