This position is based within Jefferson Regional Nutritional Services Department In this unique setting, daily interactions with a diverse clientele, including hospital staff, physicians, and visitors, are expected
Job Summary:
The Service Rep is responsible for ensuring the dietary needs of all residents. This position performs a variety of activities related to the assembly and service of food to patients and /or guests. Promotes excellent customer relations, team orientation, conserves resources, support continuous quality improvement, and enhances the patient experience.
Service Rep Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferredAt least one year of food service experience preferred.

One year of cashier experience in food service preferred.

Culinary training and nutritional knowledge preferred.

Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and meal tracking preferred.

Knowledge in food safety and sanitation standards preferred.

General math skills and legible handwriting for reports.

Verbal and public relation skills necessary to relate effectively with others.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of basic nutrition and special diets.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
