In-Person Position Summary The Dietary Aide plays an important role in supporting the nutritional health and overall well-being of our residents. Under the direction of the Dietary Manager, this position assists with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual who is committed to providing excellent service and compassionate care in a healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation and portioning according to established dietary guidelines. Serve meals and beverages to residents in a timely, courteous, and respectful manner. Ensure residents receive the correct meals and diets as prescribed. Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with sanitation standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, storage, and dining environment. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures. Work collaboratively with dietary staff, nursing, and other departments. Provide friendly, respectful, and professional service to residents and guests. Qualifications Previous food service experience preferred; healthcare experience is a plus. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong communication skills in spoken and written English. Commitment to resident care and excellent customer service. Ability to successfully pass a background check, TB test, and drug screening. Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one. Flexibility to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.
