Dietary Aide (SNF)- Meadows Post Acute Baldwin Gardens Nursing Center - 4.0 Los Angeles, CA Job Details Full-time $20 - $22 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Recipe adherence Spanish English Full Job Description The Meadows Post Acute is a 99-bed skilled nursing facility located in Panorama City, in the San Fernando Valley. We are seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting the kitchen staff in preparing and serving meals to residents, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Also, working the trayline. Applicants needs to be bilingual in English & Spanish.
Responsibilities:
Assist with meal preparation and cooking Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary requirements and portion control Follow menus and prepare food items as directed by the Cook or Dietary Manager Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas as assigned on cleaning schedule Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred (i.e. SNF) Ability to read and follow menus, recipes, and instructions Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, Food Handlers Certification Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds If you are a self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for serving others, we encourage you to apply for this position.
