Job Description
Dietary Aide Marin Post Acute Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour Marin Post Acute is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you will help provide nutritious meals and excellent dining service to our residents while supporting a positive and welcoming environment. Position Summary The Dietary Aide assists with food preparation, meal service, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the dietary department. This position plays an important role in ensuring residents receive high-quality meals in a safe and pleasant dining environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Assist with meal preparation and food service according to established procedures.
- Set up trays and food carts accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely manner.
- Serve residents in dining areas with professionalism and courtesy.
- Ensure dietary preferences and special dietary needs are followed.
- Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment.
- Clean and sanitize food preparation, service, and dining areas.
- Stock supplies and assist with inventory as needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
- Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the dietary department.
- Work closely with dietary staff to ensure excellent service and resident satisfaction.
- Report any concerns regarding resident nutrition or meal service to the Dietary Manager. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous food service or healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude. Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and carrying items.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment. What We Offer
