Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing nutritious meals, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and transporting meals to our sister facility just down the road and then picking up the dietary supplies and returning them. This is an important position that directly impacts the well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
• Assisting cooks with meals prepared for our residents in a timely and courteous manner
• Ensure that food is presented in an appetizing and appealing manner
• Follow dietary restrictions and special instructions for each resident
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils
• Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify supervisor when items need to be restocked
• Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleanup as needed
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
• Drive transport van to and from our sister facility to deliver food and return dietary supplies

• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects

Driving record must be provided upon hire.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
