At-a-Glance:
Are you ready to build your career by joining a Healthcare Service Provider. If so, our client is hiring a Dietary Aide.
Position Type:
Contract (13 week Contract)
Onsite
Shift:
Day 5x8-Hour (05:00 - 13:00)
Required
Schedule - 5x8 days, 5am or 10:45am start time
This is a fast paced, high volume position.
High volume meal ticket reconciliation and Tube Feeding Verification.
Required
Prioritizing candidates with more direct dietary aide experience, such as understanding and implementing therapeutic diets (e.g., diabetic, renal, cardiac, or texture-modified diets), and ensuring proper nutritional compliance, with collaboration with dietitians.
1-2 years dietary experience
California Food Handlers Certification
Skills
Basic computer operations skills
Basic clerical skills
EHR - understanding of the system
Responsibilities:
Receives and processes all patient diet orders.
Prepares and posts meal counts.
Supervises the weighing and measuring of proper amounts of specific foods, and the apportioning of foods on tray line.
May occasionally substitutes foods on the menu when supply is depleted.
