In this energetic position, you will assist with meal service, uphold strict food safety standards, and ensure a clean and welcoming dining environment. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone we serve. Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines, ensuring proper portioning and presentation Follow sanitation procedures rigorously to maintain a hygienic dining area and kitchen workspace Assist residents during meal times, providing friendly and attentive customer service Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for meal transactions when applicable Support food safety management practices by adhering to all safety protocols and documentation requirements Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, food prep stations, and equipment throughout your shift Collaborate with kitchen staff and healthcare team to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety standards is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with a warm, approachable demeanor Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but training will be provided Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing nourishing meals in a supportive environment.
