Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED preferred. Previous food service or dietary experience is helpful but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds throughout your shift. Reliable attendance with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities:
Assist with preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines. Assemble and deliver meal trays accurately and on time. Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, dining areas, and kitchen equipment. stock food, beverages, and kitchen supplies. Properly store food items and assist with inventory. Follow all food safety, sanitation, HIPPA, infection control, and facility policies. Work closely with dietary staff, nursing staff, and other departments to provide outstanding patient service.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Dietary aide or in food service within a hospital, nursing home, rehabilitation center, behavioral health facility, or other healthcare setting. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures. ServSafe Certification is a plus but not required.
