Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team in the Food Services department. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas. Duties:

• Assist with food production, including meal preparation and plating
• Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Set up dining areas for meal service, including table settings and condiments
• Serve meals to patients or residents according to dietary guidelines
• Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties as needed
• Adhere to all safety and food handling regulations
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the dietary department

Experience:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods is a plus
• Familiarity with sanitation regulations and safe food handling practices is beneficial
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
