In this role, you will assist in meal preparation, food service, and dining operations while helping ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. What You'll Do Assist with meal preparation and food distribution according to established menus and dietary guidelines. Set up meal trays and ensure residents receive the correct diets and meal selections. Serve meals and beverages while providing courteous and respectful service to residents. Assist residents during mealtimes as directed by nursing and dietary staff. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining rooms, kitchen areas, equipment, and workstations. Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment. Follow infection control, food safety, and sanitation procedures in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Stock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed. Work collaboratively with dietary, nursing, and facility staff to support resident satisfaction and nutritional needs. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and positive attitude. Preferred Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, hospitality, healthcare, or long-term care experience. Experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, assisted living community, or hospital setting. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
