As part of our commitment to their well-being, we are seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team.

Position Overview:

As a Dietary Aide at Oahu Care Facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals. You will work closely with our culinary team to assist in meal preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. This role requires compassion, attention to detail, and a commitment to promoting the health and happiness of our residents.

Responsibilities:

Assist in meal preparation according to specified menus and dietary requirements. Serve meals to residents in a courteous and efficient manner. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times. Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and supervisors. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred. Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and patient demeanor. Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under pressure. Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
