Job Description

DIETARY AIDE
Cherokee Regional Medical Center is looking for a dependable team player with excellent customer service skills.
Position:
Full time, 40 hours/week, 8 hour shifts Every other weekend Responsibilities to be trained on: Provides set up and delivery of patient trays according to diet as ordered by the physician and patient menu preferences. A dietary aide needs to know a variety of special diets. The dietary aide will need to note all restrictions on patient menus. Have knowledge of a variety of therapeutic diets and modify menus accordingly. Portrays friendly service and good communication skills with patients, visitors, and staff. Follow a work schedule to ensure all work is completed in the allotted time frame. Take direction from dietary manager and dietitian to improve efficiency and workflow. Follows proper sanitation procedures including food handling and hand washing. Demonstrate good safety practices.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED. Excellent attention to detail, communication and customer service skills. Dependable Servsafe food handler certified or is obtained upon hire Join our team of committed and caring professionals.
