Jackson Ridge Healthcare Center is looking to add new faces to our Laundry team! If you enjoy working in the healthcare setting and interacting with a diverse population; then this is your chance to join a great team. We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to fill our part-time position as a Laundry Aide. We look forward to meeting you!

Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily laundry services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living conditions. Assure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical. Attend and participate in in-service educational classes, on-the-job training programs, etc., as scheduled or as directed.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Must be able to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public. Must be willing to work harmoniously with other personnel as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixture of cleaning compounds, liquids, cleaning instructions, etc.
