As a member of our dietary services team, you will help create a positive dining experience for residents by assisting with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment. This role is essential in supporting the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents each day. Responsibilities:
- Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
- Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
- Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
- Discard leftovers and take out garbage
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels, and silverware
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations
Requirements:
- Food Handlers Permit (or be willing to obtain upon hire)
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
