As a Dietary Aide , you'll play an important role in creating a positive dining experience by helping residents select meals they'll enjoy while ensuring their dietary needs are met. This position is primarily responsible for taking residents' meal orders, providing friendly customer service, and supporting the kitchen team wherever needed to ensure meals are prepared and served with excellence. What You'll Do Visit residents to take meal orders and accurately document food preferences and dietary restrictions. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and helping residents make meal selections. Communicate meal orders clearly with the dietary team to ensure accuracy. Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, serving, and beverage service as needed. Help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and dining area. Wash dishes, clean equipment, and complete assigned kitchen duties. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards. Work collaboratively with the dietary team and nursing staff to provide an outstanding dining experience. Assist with other dietary department responsibilities as assigned. What We're Looking For Friendly, compassionate personality with excellent customer service skills. Strong communication and organizational abilities. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Dependable team player with a positive attitude. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred. Previous experience in food service, hospitality, healthcare, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospitals is a plus—but we're happy to train the right person.
