Hospital Food Services Location:

Overland Park, KS Pay:

$17.00 per hour Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity in a healthcare environment? Join our team as a Tray Runner and help make a difference in patients' daily experience by ensuring meals are delivered accurately, safely, and on time. As a Tray Runner, you'll work alongside the Dietary and Nursing teams to provide excellent service while supporting quality patient care. Responsibilities Deliver patient meal trays accurately and on schedule. Ensure each tray is assembled according to dietary orders and special requests. Verify meal accuracy before delivery. Provide friendly and professional customer service to patients. Communicate with Dietary and Nursing staff regarding meal changes or patient needs. Collect meal trays and assist with maintaining a clean and organized work area. Help with dishwashing and restocking supplies as needed. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines. Qualifications Previous experience as a Tray Runner, Dietary Aide, Food Service Worker, or in a similar role (healthcare experience preferred). Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform the physical demands of a 12-hour shift. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Schedule 12-hour shifts: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Work 1-2 weekdays each week.

Rotating weekends:

One weekend on One weekend off Pay $17.00 per hour Requirements Must be able to reliably commute to Overland Park, KS , or plan to relocate before starting work.
