Dietary Manager / Food Service Director Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Diet Aide to join our dietary team in a skilled nursing facility. The Diet Aide assists with meal preparation, tray assembly, meal delivery, dining room service, and maintaining a clean and sanitary food service environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with older adults and is committed to providing meals and service that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences. Essential Responsibilities Prepare and assemble resident meal trays according to prescribed diets and meal tickets. Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely and courteous manner. Assist residents with meal-related requests and communicate concerns to nursing or dietary staff. Follow special diet orders, food allergies, and texture modifications carefully. Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals. Assist with food preparation, portioning, serving, and stocking supplies. Wash dishes, utensils, and food service equipment as assigned. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with facility policies and applicable food safety regulations. Check food temperatures and follow proper food-handling procedures. Communicate resident food preferences, concerns, or changes in appetite to the appropriate staff. Perform other duties assigned by the Dietary Manager or Food Service Director. Qualifications Previous food service, dietary, healthcare, or nursing home experience preferred but not required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding special diets and food allergies. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Reliable attendance and a positive, respectful attitude. Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with residents. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, lifting, and carrying food service items. Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
