As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the dietary needs of residents in nursing homes or assisted living facilities are met. - Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and portion sizes.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist in food production activities such as assembling trays.
- Collaborate with the dietary team to coordinate meal schedules and special dietary needs.
- Support residents with their dining experience by providing excellent customer service.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Adhere to time management protocols to ensure meals are served promptly.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding dietary preferences and restrictions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in meal preparation or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of dietetics or nutrition is a plus.
- Familiarity with working in nursing homes or assisted living facilities is beneficial.
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Experience as a dietary aide or within the food industry is advantageous.

$14.00- $15.
