Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement personalized therapy programs to help patients improve their functional abilities and enhance their quality of life. Your expertise will support individuals across diverse populations and disorder areas, ensuring they receive compassionate, effective care tailored to their unique needs. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, daily living skills, sensory needs, emotional, and cognitive abilities to determine appropriate therapy interventions Develop individualized treatment plans that align with patients' goals, medical conditions, and individualized needs Implement therapeutic activities aimed at improving motor skills, coordination, balance, sensory needs, and daily living functions Utilize behavioral interventions to support patients with behavioral or psychological challenges Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently to document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, home exercises, and adaptive strategies for ongoing support Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including SLPs, OTs, PTs, ABA staff, BCBAs, and other healthcare staff to optimize patient care Experience with feeding therapy is preferred and/or willingness to learn! Communicate effectively with clients from culturally diverse backgrounds to foster trust and engagement in the therapy process Skills Proven experience working with culturally diverse communities in a healthcare setting Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practices Proficiency in managing electronic health records (EHR) systems for accurate documentation Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to client communication Skilled in behavioral interventions tailored to individual patient needs Join us in delivering impactful occupational therapy services that empower individuals to learn independence and improve their overall well-being.
