We offer homes and services for people in Senior Apartments, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Care centers in the Midway area of St. Paul. We complement our homes with a home care service, foundation, a management company, and a robust campus life program that provides a fitness center, pool, theater, 1st class dining room, pub, and special events.

Wage:

$19.00-$21.50/hr.

DOE Schedule:

6:30am-3:00pm or 10:30am-6:30pm including every other weekend and holiday. Cross training available. Can pick up shifts if there are call offs or off requests.

Job Summary:

Coordinates with coworkers to ensure efficiency and adherence to established standards. Ensures safety, sanitation, and appearance in all aspects of food service and sanitation

Essential Functions:

Ensures that portion control, appearance, and temperature for all food items is appropriate and high quality Maintain a warm and inviting atmosphere for our elders Ensures timely beginning and end of meal services Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of dining room and kitchen Ensuring all prep is done including but not limited to fruit, dessert, and salad bar prep Ensuring food items are being used first in first out Proper saving and storage of leftovers including labeling and dating Avoids eating, using phone, or sitting (unless with resident) while in the dining room

Physical Demands:

Must be able to remain on feet for most working hours. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to work flexible hours, either early or late shifts. Must be able to work flexible days-weekdays or weekends. May be exposed to sharp instruments and power-driven equipment. May be exposed to extremes of temperature. May be exposed to caustic chemicals.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be able to fulfill all facility hiring practices. High School education or equivalency. Able to read, write and follow directions. Strong production and personnel skills desirable.
