Senatobia Healthcare & Rehab has been owned and operated since 1978 by the same founding family. The facility offers short term rehabilitation services including physical, speech and occupational therapy, as well as long term skilled care for those that might need that service. This is accomplished in a comfortable, homelike environment where our residents, families and staff are able to experience a family type atmosphere. Senatobia Healthcare & Rehab is currently recruiting for an Assistant Dietary Manager at our long term care facility in Senatobia, Mississippi.

Description of duties:

Supervises cooks and dietary aides. Maintains positive relationships with CNAs, nursing staff, residents, and family members. Is able to perform all other positions with the dietary department. Fills in within the dietary department for emergency vacancies when needed including all weekend positions and/or needs as requested by the Dietary Manager. Assists the Dietary Manager in planning, coordinating, and performing all functions of the facility. Maintains accurate inventory control of food, supplies, and equipment for the department. Maintains accurate records and reports as requested by the Dietary Manager on a regular basis, e.g., volume counts (dietary products, orders, etc.) recipe inventory (monthly maintenance reports, diet order filing), etc. Coordinates the daily meal service in the absence of or as requested by the Dietary Manager in accordance with administrative policy and state and federal regulations. Coordinates the maintenance of sanitation, safety, and housekeeping standards in accordance with professional food service practices and governmental regulations in the absence of or as requested by the Dietary Manager. Performs other duties as directed by the Dietary Manager.

Job Requirements:

Must have long term care experience in the Dietary Department Must have experience in scheduling and supervising employees Must have ServSafe certification This is a process-oriented organization.
