Morning Shift (United States of America) Job Description We're looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our culinary team! Under the guidance of the chef/production manager, prepare fresh vegetables for the cookline and prepare and maintain fresh salads, deli items, and ice displays for the cafeteria. Provide excellent service for all patients, visitors, and staff to ensure meal satisfaction. Responsibilities Responsibilities Prepare salad items, dressings, relishes, and other items according to established production lists. Prepare entrées, vegetables, breads, desserts, and other food items for the cookline and cafeteria. Follow company recipes, portion guidelines, and production procedures when preparing all food items. Operate the retail area of the cafeteria, including setting up, stocking, organizing, and maintaining food, beverage, condiment, and service areas. Provide courteous customer service and accurately operate the credit- and debit-only point-of-sale register in accordance with established procedures. Monitor food quality, freshness, presentation, and availability throughout the service period. Properly label, date, store, and rotate food products according to food-safety requirements. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area and complete all required cleaning, sanitation, opening, and closing procedures. Adhere to all facility, department, health, safety, and infection-prevention policies and procedures. Assist with stocking, dishwashing, food production, service, and other departmental tasks as needed. Support team members and management to help the department operate safely and efficiently. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
Preferred:
