Job Description

JOB RELATIONSHIPS
Responsible to: Patient Services Supervisor
DEFINITION OF POSITION
Responsible for a variety of duties pertaining to patient service and tray line delivery systems. Major responsibilities include delivering patient order taking, patient trays, cleaning and stocking nourishment pantries, preparing for and working on the patient tray line, and assisting in the dish room and with department sanitation and safety. The host must be a team player with Nutrition Services staff and with other departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional High school graduate or equivalent, with ability to read, write, speak and comprehend the English language and ability to verbalize clearly, quickly and accurately Ability to perform simple mathematics and follow written and verbal instructions is required. With minimal training, must have a basic understanding of diet principles and must understand basic food preparation, safety and sanitation. Needs to have basic computer knowledge and skills. Professional appearance must be maintained at all times.
