Job Summary Join our dedicated dietary team as a Dietary Aide, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering nutritious, delicious meals to our residents. In this energetic position, you will assist with food preparation, service, and sanitation tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist with food production and meal preparation according to established menus and safety standards Serve meals to residents or patients with courtesy and professionalism, ensuring proper portioning and presentation Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dining rooms, and food handling equipment through regular sanitation and cleaning routines Support the dietary department by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and ensuring dining areas are tidy and inviting Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold food safety regulations and sanitation standards Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal delivery and efficient service during busy periods Skills Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or food industry environments is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation practices Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Ability to follow detailed instructions related to meal prep, dietary restrictions, and safety protocols Customer service-oriented attitude with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members Familiarity with food handling regulations, cleaning procedures, and kitchen safety standards Experience in culinary activities such as cooking, meal assembly, or food presentation is a plus Join us in making a meaningful difference through nourishing meals and compassionate service!
