Dietary Aide Job Responsibilities:
Meal Service:
Assist in serving meals that are palatable, appetizing, and timely in accordance with the current menu, following time and temperature standards.
Setup:
Set up meal trays, food carts, and dining room.
Diet Compliance:
Serve food according to current diet, texture, and liquid consistency orders; follow established portion control procedures.
Quality Check:
Assist in checking resident meals or trays before distribution.
Delivery:
Deliver food carts, trays, and other items to designated areas.
Cleanup:
Remove soiled carts and dishes from the dining area upon completion of meal service.
Dishwashing:
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans; return clean items to proper storage areas and ensure readiness for the next meal.
