17.25Job Summary:
The primary purpose of your job position is to be responsible for performing setup of products, stocking and restocking, making nourishment's, reading production sheets, cleaning, dating, labeling, rotating, replenishing water on the units, stocking the units in the Dietary Department. We offer health, vision and dental insurance. In addition, paid time off, holidays and personal days are offered.Part-Time Available Responsibilities:
- Perform defined work routines, using various utensils, supplies and equipment as assigned by the Dietary Supervisor.
- Meet scheduled meal and snack times.
- Labels, dates and rotates food properly.
- Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled, along with signing off on the dialing cleaning log.
- Works the line during meals times.
- Delivers food to the units if items are requested.
- Assist in arranging tray cards, loading food carts, and serving meals.
- Setting up the dining room and serving residents.
- Wash and store dishes properly.
- Report to manager any broken or damaged equipment, damaged or spoiled food, safety issues, resident issues, pest issues.
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies.
- Attend in service educational programs.
- Follow defined safety codes while performing duties.
- Follow defined infection control procedures.
- Understands and follow fire and disaster plans.
- Be knowledgeable of federal, State and Facility's rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Perform other department duties or special assignments as directed by dietary Manager.
- In absence of Dietary Supervisor, aide is accountable to the Cook.
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
- Washes work tables, countertops, refrigerators.
- Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.
- Sets up banquet tables.
- Loads, unloads and delivers trucks from kitchen to the units at designated times, having the dietary log signed off by the aides, adhering to delivery times.
- Distributes portable equipment, equipment and supplies to units.
