Overview Join our dedicated dietary team as a Dietary Aide, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering exceptional meal service in assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare settings. Duties Assist with food production and meal preparation following established safety and sanitation standards Serve meals to residents or patients with professionalism, kindness, and attention to dietary needs Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchens, and food service equipment through regular cleaning and sanitation procedures Support food handling processes including bussing tables, cleaning dishes, and ensuring proper food storage Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs Collaborate with culinary staff and dietary team members to ensure timely delivery of nutritious meals Engaged with the residents and make sure they are enjoying an excellent dining experience. Clean dining area, plates, serving trays/pots, and other items as needed. Requirements Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or food industry roles is highly preferred Knowledge of food production, preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation standards Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment Ability to follow detailed instructions related to meal plans and dietary restrictions Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, respectful attitude towards residents and team members Experience in food handling, cooking, cleaning, bussing or kitchen operations is advantageous Basic understanding of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform cleaning duties as needed This position requires flexibility with schedule, and weekend holiday availability.

$17.00 per hour
