The Pavilion at Queens is a 302-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Flushing, Queens. We are committed to providing our residents with high-quality care and service in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Job Duties Include:
Perform a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the kitchen and dietary department. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning refrigerators, washing pots and equipment, and organizing stockrooms. Assist with meal and snack preparation. Perform food preparation duties as assigned by the supervisor. Assist with tray service, including portioning, assembling, and preparing meals. Load and unload food carts and organize meal tickets. Safely transport loaded food carts to and from resident floors. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and nutritional standards.
Qualifications:
Previous Dietary Aide or food service experience preferred. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to follow instructions and established procedures. Commitment to maintaining proper food safety, sanitation, and nutritional standards. Reliable and dependable attendance. Must be available to work weekends as needed. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Pay:
$18.00 per hour
