Compensation Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Food & Nutrition Services Position Summary Summary:
The Dietary Aide places food on patient trays while reviewing daily production sheets. The Dietary Aide transports food carts to patient floors while maintaining all food temperature controls. The Dietary Aide also assists with patient needs whenever necessary and follows hospital standards for customer satisfaction. The food service and clinical programs provide services based on department standards for meal delivery, nutritional assessment and patient education.
Qualifications Responsibilities:
Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program High School Diploma or GED or equivalent. Experience And Skills Speaks, reads and writes English Previous food service experience and/or healthcare experience.
License/Certifications Working Conditions Other information:
Working Conditions Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn Requires standing in one position plus periods of movement, while working in high temperature area.
