We're currently seeking a Dietary Aide to support our kitchen team and ensure our residents receive nourishing meals in a clean and welcoming environment. Why Join Forest Glen? What You'll Do:
Assist in meal preparation and plating under the supervision of the Cook and Dietary Manager Deliver food trays and beverages to residents in dining areas or rooms Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining rooms, and equipment Wash dishes, utensils, and food prep surfaces following sanitation guidelines Follow dietary plans for residents with modified or restricted diets Stock food and supplies, rotate inventory, and report shortages Provide friendly and respectful service to all residents and team members
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or healthcare preferred Understanding of basic nutrition and food safety is a plus Ability to work well in a team and take direction Compassionate attitude and a genuine interest in resident well-being Flexibility to work varied shifts, including some weekends and holidays Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Forest Glen Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
