Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team who will be responsible for the set-up and assistance with serving meals to residents and facility staff. This role includes maintaining cleanliness in work areas, washing and sanitizing food preparation equipment and utensils, floors, and all dishes, flatware, and trays. The ideal candidate will have a customer service-oriented attitude and a basic understanding of infection control protocols.
Primary Responsibilities:
Set up dining areas and assist with serving meals to residents and facility staff. Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized. Wash and sanitize food preparation equipment, utensils, floors, and all dishes, flatware, and trays. Follow established routines and instructions for meal preparation and service. Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.
Minimum Requirements:
Previous experience in a dietary or food service role is a plus but not required. Ability to follow instructions and established routines. Basic understanding of infection control protocols. Customer service-oriented attitude. Ability to work well as part of a team. Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Shift:
4 days on and 2 days off rotation.
