Dietary Aide Job Description The Dietary Aide supports daily food service operations to ensure residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals that meet dietary needs and facility standards. Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation following menus and dietary guidelines. Portion and plate meals according to diet orders. Deliver trays to residents and assist with setup as needed. Collect and clean trays after meals. Maintain cleanliness in kitchen, dining, and food-service areas. Follow food safety and infection-control procedures. Communicate with nursing staff regarding resident dietary needs or concerns. Assist with inventory, stocking, and basic kitchen tasks. Provide friendly, respectful service to residents, families, and staff. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ebensburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $15.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
