Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Dietary Manager (Food Service) to join our team at Spring Hill Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of dietary services for our residents. Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and direct the daily dietary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and food service delivery Ensure compliance with dietary regulations, standards, and policies, including state and federal guidelines Supervise and train dietary staff to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency Manage dietary supplies, inventory, and budget to minimize waste and optimize resources Coordinate with other departments, such as nursing and activities, to ensure resident care and satisfaction Maintain accurate records and reports, including dietary logs, inventory, and budget reports
Requirements:
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification Prior experience in food service management, preferably in a long-term care setting Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of dietary regulations and standards
