In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our residents receive nutritious, appealing meals served with warmth and professionalism. Your enthusiasm for food service, combined with your commitment to safety and cleanliness, will help create a positive dining experience for everyone. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your culinary skills and customer service talents are valued and celebrated. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and presentation of meals, adhering to dietary guidelines and safety standards Serve food and beverages to residents or guests in a courteous, timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchens, and food service equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing procedures Follow food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, dishwashers, and POS systems for processing transactions Support manual handling tasks such as weight lifting of supplies or food items while maintaining proper ergonomic practices Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure dietary needs are met and special requests are accommodated Skills Prior experience in healthcare dining, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety management practices Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Strong customer service skills with in-person interaction experience Basic math skills for measuring ingredients or handling financial transactions Ability to handle weight in the workplace safely and effectively Excellent cleaning skills and understanding of food safety sanitizing procedures Previous dietary aide or food industry experience is preferred but not required Join us to make a meaningful difference by providing exceptional meal services that nourish both body and spirit.
