Dietary Aide (Long-Term Care) Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our healthcare culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing our residents' quality of life by preparing and serving nutritious meals that meet their specific dietary needs. Location:
Manchester, TN 37355 Key Responsibilities Serve meals to residents according to custom portion sizes and dietary restrictions. Prepare dining by setting up trays, utensils, and food carts. Review resident menu cards to ensure correct food placement on trays. Maintain clean kitchen zones by washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and clearing trash. Store food supplies properly by complying with state health and safety regulations. Collaborate closely with the clinical dietary team to accommodate residents' changing needs.
Qualifications & Skills Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:
Food service or senior care experience is a plus, but we provide full training.
Physical Strength:
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [e.g., 30-50 lbs].
Soft Skills:
Strong teamwork focus, high empathy, patience, and clear communication.
Compliance:
