Food Handler Certification Dishwasher Full Job Description Kitchen Aide:
$19-20/hr Peters Creek Retirement is looking for compassionate, hard-working and talented people to join our team. We offer competitive wages, excellent benefits, and generous paid time off. Most importantly, we treat all staff in all departments as valued members of a caring community. This will be a full-time position, Friday-Monday, 10am-7pm.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver meals to resident rooms, set up meal trays in accordance to diet orders and tray cards, ensure residents are served proper diet and food preferences in a timely manner. 2. Help keep the kitchen, dietary equipment, and dining room clean and sanitary at all times, including work areas and floors. 3. Operate the dishwasher and properly stores pots, dishes and utensils. 4. Ensure proper labeling of foods to be stored. 5. Assists in minor preparation of food and is responsible for serving meals, snacks, and beverages using portion control and applicable sanitation practices. 6. Greets residents, visitors, and staff courteously, and in a manner that respects dignity, confidentiality standards and promotes residents and staff rights. 7. Resets the dining room for the next meal and makes sure supplies are available for the next meal. 8. Takes resident(s) meal orders and serves meals correctively and efficiently using exceptional customer service techniques. 9. Refills condiments and salt and pepper shakers. 10. Makes coffee, tea, juices and stocks coffee bar. 11. Breaks down, cleans, and puts together all beverage dispensing equipment. 12. Clears table and transports dishes to dish room. 13. Cleans dining room tables and chairs and vacuums dining room. 14. Performs all kitchen helper and dishwasher duties as needed. 15. Changes beverage dispensing units as they are depleted. 16. Performs any other job related duties requested by their supervisor. 17. Understands and abides by all emergency procedures. 18. Reports all safety concerns or hazardous issues immediately to supervisor. 19. Uses proper lifting practices at all times. 20. Maintains company standards for attendance and punctuality. 21. Maintains company and department personal appearance standards. 22. Maintains a professional and positive attitude with other departments and their staffs. Benefits
